Richard is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is a business advisor with a specialism in tax reliefs for innovative companies.

He has specialised in supporting innovative companies with their tax affairs for more than 10 years. He initially trained with a top 10 firm, and has since built his experience with both smaller accountancy firms and specialist advisory organisations in order to build his experience over a wide portfolio of clients with annual turnovers from pre-revenue to £4.5 billion.

Richard uses his prior experience working in engineering and his extensive knowledge of the UK innovation relief system to advise his clients on the most secure and tax efficient treatments available to them for their R&D work and IP management. A passion for science and technology, along with a talent for clear and straightforward communication, means that clients can be confident that they understand their options, and can make great business decisions without worrying about losing out when it comes to tax.
